This year is flying by, I can’t keep up with the days, weeks, or months. Here’s how 2025 has been so far!
📅 January 2025
We kicked off the year with a Knicks vs. OKC Thunder game with the fam! The kids were hyped… not for basketball, but for the snacks! 🍿🥨

My LifeGroup is still going strong! We started the year with a study from my favorite company, The Daily Grace Co.
My daughter jumped into another year of Girl Scouts Cookie Season. Inflation is really showing off because the boxes of cookies went from $5 to $7. 🍪💸
We drove into the city and surprised the kids with the Bluey x Camp experience!
After, we took them to the Sugar Factory! It was our first time there. The kids definitely left with a sugar rush. So did I! 😆

My son started with a new speech therapist and did SO well adjusting! He gets so excited to go to “school” twice a week. 🥹
I'm in a local mom group and loving it! This month we had Taco Night! 🌮

💖 February 2025
This month I officially enrolled my son in UPK for September. Bittersweet doesn’t even cover it. 😭
Both kids had their eye exams. My daughter’s vision dipped a bit, so we’re keeping an eye on that (no pun intended). Thankfully, my little guy’s eyes are perfect. 👀✨
We saw the Dog Man movie (the kids loved it, I… almost pulled out my phone to read a book 😅). A few days later we hit up Empire Adventure Park for some real fun! 🤸♀️

☁️ March 2025
Jaxon and I went to a pajama playdate at my friend’s house. He had a blast. I love how he warms up fast when something catches his interest. 🛝
I had my monthly mom meetup, then took both kids to the dentist that same day. Turns out my daughter had her first cavity. Ughhh 🦷😩
Got my eyes checked and yup, my vision’s sliding just like hers. Sigh. 😮💨
We ended the month with a couples game day at my friend’s house. We talked about love and parenting, then had a living room slow dance with our spouses 💃🏽🕺🏽 It was so sweet, but all I could do was giggle because that definitely took my husband and I out of our comfort zone.

🎉 April 2025
It's my birthday month! 🥳🎉 After 30, I have to do math to remember how old I am.

I surprised my daughter’s class as the mystery reader at school. 📚💕
We saw King of Kings with the kids and cousins just in time for Easter, and went to church for Easter Sunday. We had not one but two egg hunts this year. One at my friend’s house and one in my mom’s backyard. These kids are spoiled! 🐣✨
Hubby and I squeezed in a date night to see The Accountant 2. It was good!
I had a brain MRI for a small benign mass that’s being monitored. I also had an MRI on my shoulder after finding a lump. The results showed that it did not have the characteristics of a lipoma and a biopsy was recommended. (More on that below!)

🌸 May 2025
I had a brain EEG for memory issues. Memory loss runs in my family. My dad and grandma both had dementia. Thankfully, the EEG was normal. I’m set to do a 2-hour neuropsych test later this year. 🧠🙏
Followed up about that shoulder lump and the doctor decided to remove it rather than biopsy it. Surgery got scheduled for June. Meanwhile, another lesion on my left scapula started acting up. The MRI showed it grew slightly, so I’m now waiting to hear if I’ll need a biopsy or possibly a radioactive iodine body scan. My body stays keeping doctors employed. 😅 At this point, I refer the whole body scan.
We celebrated my daughter’s birthday with her brother and her two besties by watching the Stitch movie! 🍿🎞️ She and I both love Stitch, so I was just as excited!

Back at the house, the kids were surprised with a backyard playground! 🛝 It was finished just in time for her and her friends when we returned from the Stitch movie.
We also made it to a Mets game and got Hello Kitty bobbleheads! ⚾ Later that night, my husband and I went to the Knicks watch party at MSG for the playoffs. Even though we didn’t make it to the Finals, I’m still hopeful we will make it next year! Let’s go Knicks! 💙🧡 (Miss you, DiVincenzo. 🥲)

☀️ June 2025
Whew! Made it to the current month!
Girl Scouts ended with and end of year celebration at Chuck E. Cheese. My back clocked out halfway through and I ended up in the car for the last 30 minutes.
Went to a birdhouse painting party at my daughter’s school. I enjoyed painting it along with my daughter. It's the small moments for me. 🎨
We welcomed a brand new baby boy to our extended family! This auntie now has 3 nieces and 2 nephews! 💕
I had my shoulder lump removed and I’m currently recovering. Surgery went great, NYU is best!
The last day of school finally came! My girl is done with second grade. 🥹 It always hits me hard when I look at her first and last day of school pics side by side. She’s growing up way too fast! 😭
Oh, and summer is summering. First week of summer and we already had a heat wave. It felt like 105° for three straight days. I didn’t sign up for this kind of heat! 😵💫🔥
