01
Target Acquired
by Lynette Eason
🏷️ Fiction, Mystery, Suspense, Christian, Clean Romance
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Target Acquired is a suspenseful read with solid action and a strong female lead. The cold case twist adds some intrigue, and there’s just enough romance and heart to keep things interesting. I enjoyed reading this book!

02
Serial Burn
by Lynette Eason
🏷️ Fiction, Mystery, Suspense, Christian, Clean Romance
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Serial Burn is one of the latest books in Lynette Eason’s Lake City Heroes collection. Jesslyn McCormick, a fire marshal, is haunted by the blaze that killed her family years ago. She teams up with FBI agent Nathan Carlisle, and the sparks—both investigative and romantic—start flying. With clever twists, emotional depth, and a chillingly personal villain, this one kept me up late. Highly recommend if you like your suspense hot, heartfelt, and faith-rooted!

03
The Wedding People
by Alison Espach
🏷️ Fiction, Chick Lit, Contemporary, Humor
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This was a surprisingly deep yet funny story. Phoebe, who is newly divorced, checks into a fancy hotel that happens to be hosting a wedding. Everyone else is there for the big event, except Phoebe, who came with a much darker plan. But when she’s mistaken for a wedding guest, she gets swept up in the chaos and is slowly pulled back to life. It’s emotional, relatable, darkly funny, and full of hope. I enjoyed this story!

04
Till Summer Do Us Part
by Meghan Quinn
🏷️ Fiction,
Rating ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This was a fun, flirty read about Scottie, who fakes a husband to impress her coworkers and ropes in Wilder, her best friend’s brother, to help. Their pretend marriage at a couples’ retreat leads to lots of laughs, awkward moments, and surprisingly real feelings. The chemistry is sizzling and the humor is sharp, but there’s also a sweet side to healing and being honest with yourself. If you want a light, feel-good romance that’s funny and heartfelt, this one’s a winner. A great read to kick off the summer!

05
Vera Wong's Unsolicited Advice for Murderers
by Jesse Q Sutanto
🏷️ Fiction, Cozy Mystery, Humor
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Vera Wong is a sassy tea shop owner who finds a dead body in her barely visited shop one morning. She posts an obituary, and suddenly four strangers show up... aka her top murder suspects. This was a funny, cozy, mysterious read. I enjoyed Vera's sassy and witty energy.

06
Vera Wong's Guide to Snooping (on a Dead Man)
by Jesse Q. Sutanto
🏷️ Fiction, Cozy Mystery, Humor
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Our favorite Grandma/Auntie Vera Wong is back! She brings her sassy charm and sharp investigative skills to a new mystery when she accidentally inherits a dead man’s diary. As she digs into his secrets, she gets tangled up in danger, laughs, and plenty of surprises. Vera’s humor and knack for sniffing out clues (or just being plain old nosy!) made this a cozy mystery I didn’t want to put down!
That's a wrap for June!
