01
As A Last Resort
by Kristin Wollett
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
🏷️ Fiction, Romance, Romcom, Small Town Romance, Second Chances
This was such a cozy, heartfelt read. Samantha heads back to her tiny Florida hometown for a work project, hoping to finally get the promotion she’s been chasing. What she doesn’t expect is to bump into Austin, her old crush turned ferryboat captain, who still has that easy charm and quiet strength. Their slow-burn reconnect had me rooting for them the whole way, and the mix of small-town drama, family tension, and personal growth gave the story real depth. If you’re into second chances, sunshine vibes, and a heroine figuring out what really matters, this one’s a good read!

02
Royal Valentine
by Sariah Wilson
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
🏷️ Fiction, Romance, Short Story
This is a quick, cute royal romance with a fairytale feel. Princess Ilaria sneaks away to Rome pretending to be her assistant and ends up spending a magical day with Callum, a charming photographer. There’s instant chemistry, fun banter, and a sweet little spark between them. It’s light and romantic, but a few parts felt rushed and I wanted more time with the characters. Still, if you’re in the mood for something fun and dreamy with royal vibes, this one’s a nice, quick, and easy read!

03
The Girlfriend Agreement
by Rowan Croft
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
🏷️ Fiction, Fake Relationship, Reverse Grumpy x Sunshine, Enemies to Lovers, Slow Burn
A messy, swoony fake-dating college romance that totally hooked me. Lexi is smart, sarcastic, and guarded while Damian is the playboy trying to grow up fast. The slow-burn was real, filled with chemistry, emotional dips, and laugh‑out‑loud moments. The friends felt real, the drama hit deep, and the banter was on point. If you love fake dating that turns real and characters who keep you guessing, this one’s a win.

04
Twilight of the Serpent
by S.Z. Estavillo
Rating ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
🏷️ Fiction, Psychological Thriller, Suspense, Vigilante Justice
This was a dark, intense thriller that kept me hooked from start to finish. Cheonsa is fighting to clear her name while Von Schlange, a retired vigilante, hunts for justice in a world full of corruption. The action is nonstop, the characters are complex, and the twists kept me guessing. If you like your stories gritty with strong women, suspense, and morally gray characters, this one’s for you!

05
You're Still The One
by Victorine E. Lieske
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
🏷️ Fiction, Romance, Fake Relationship, Second Chance, Slow Burn
A sweet, slow-burn romance that hit all the right notes. Savannah, dealing with a life-changing diagnosis, isn't looking for love—especially not with Noah, her childhood friend turned local cop. But when she needs a fake boyfriend to fend off a persistent admirer, Noah steps in. Their chemistry is undeniable, and the line between pretend and real starts to blur. If you're into fake dating, second chances, and a hero who's been quietly in love for years, this one's a cozy, feel-good read.
That's a wrap for July!
